News about Crew One October, 2008 The crew has picked up their submissions at this year's Topsfield Fair. Tim's Traditional Regalia received a blue ribbon for first place, as well as one of Midge's fans. Hope you had a chance to see them!!
September, 2008 Today, the Crew has dropped off a few items for consideration in the crafts competition at this year's Topsfield Fair. As we patiently await the results, you can visit www.topsfieldfair.org for more information. This year's fair will be open October 3rd - 13th. The Crew's submissions *should* be on display somewhere in COOLIDGE HALL. We'll keep you updated! October, 2007 The Crew has submitted a few of their regalia items into a crafts competition for the Topsfield Fair. Gordon's favorite gustoweah (pronounced gus-TOE-we), or traditional eastern woodland headdress got 2nd place, and one of Tim's turkey wing fans got 1st place. I know Gordon probably wants a recount! Our items are in Coolidge Hall, in the back left corner. The fair is open from September 28th through October 8th daily. Tim Gravelese, our Grass Dancer, was featured in the Salem News on September 25th, 2007. The Crew was doing a performance for the three Cub Scout Packs of Danvers.
